Draft, pending legal review
This page says exactly what claimsale.com does with your details today. It covers this website and its beta list. The Claim Sale app will have its own privacy policy before it opens.
Last updated 7 October 2026.
Who we are
The business behind Claim Sale, its ABN and a contact address are not on this page yet. This policy stays a draft until they are.
What we keep when you join
- Your email address, in lower case.
- The time you joined.
- Where you joined from: this website.
- The exact sentence you agreed to: “One email when Claim Sale opens, and nothing else. Leave any time.”
That is all. We don’t ask for your name, and nothing else is kept with your address.
What we don’t keep
- Your IP address. To stop one connection flooding the list, we keep a salted hash made from it (from the first half of the address, for IPv6), apart from your email. Once it is an hour old it is deleted the next time anyone opens or joins this site.
- Cookies, analytics or ad trackers. This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from any other website.
Where it is kept
In a database on Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), in Claim Sale’s own Cloudflare account, apart from the Claim Sale app. Cloudflare also hosts this site, so, like any host, its servers see each visit’s connection details, your IP address included, while they serve the page. Cloudflare’s privacy policy covers that. Cloudflare’s servers may be outside Australia.
What we’ll send you
One email, when Claim Sale opens. Nothing else. It will say why you’re getting it and give you a way to leave. Anything more would need a new yes from you.
Who sees it
Only the people running Claim Sale, and Cloudflare as our host. We don’t sell, rent or share your address.
How to leave
Ask us to take you off, and we delete everything we keep for your address: the address, the time, where you joined from and the sentence you agreed to. The email will carry a way to leave.
Until a contact address is on this page, there is no way to ask from here.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
